Being vegan in India usually means skipping dessert, or eating the same sad fruit plate at every wedding. It shouldn't. Half our menu is naturally dairy-free, and it's some of the most refreshing stuff we make.
Why our fruity pops are vegan
Our fruity range is made the way sorbet has always been made: ripe fruit, frozen, with no dairy. No milk, no cream, no butter, no eggs. We didn't design them to be vegan. They just are, because good fruit doesn't need dairy.
The full dairy-free list
- Lemon Mint: lime and fresh mint, like a mojito on a stick.
- Watermelon: nothing but watermelon, at its juiciest.
- Pineapple: sharp, sunny and just sweet enough.
- Black Grape: deep, dark and grapey.
- Watermelon + Black Grape: two sorbets, one stick.
- Watermelon + Pineapple: our most photographed fruity pop.
- Strawberry Coconut: fruity and tropical.
- Mixed Fruit: kiwi, grapes, pineapple and pomegranate in every bite.
We didn't make them vegan on purpose. Good fruit just doesn't need dairy.
Good for more than vegans
Fruity pops also suit guests who are lactose intolerant, cutting back on dairy or just want something lighter. At weddings and parties, they're the easy answer to "is there anything I can eat?" That's why we always suggest a few when you book the Pop Cart.
A note on allergies
Our fruity pops contain no milk, but they're made in the same kitchen as our creamy pops. If you have a severe milk allergy, please message us before ordering.
What vegan pops taste like
People sometimes expect dairy-free desserts to taste like something is missing. A good sorbet is the opposite. Without milk to soften it, the fruit comes through louder and cleaner. Our Watermelon pop tastes like biting into a cold slice on a hot afternoon. Black Grape is deep and almost jammy. Mixed Fruit is a whole fruit bowl frozen on a stick, with real kiwi, grapes, pineapple and pomegranate you can see in every bite.
Vegan ice cream vs vegan popsicles
If you've been searching for vegan ice cream in Hyderabad, it helps to know the difference. Most vegan ice creams replace dairy with coconut milk, nut milks or plant oils to recreate a creamy texture. A fruit sorbet pop doesn't try to imitate dairy at all. It's simply real fruit, with no dairy and nothing artificial. If you want creamy, try our coconut-based Strawberry Coconut. If you want refreshing, go straight for Lemon Mint.
Serving vegan guests at events
At weddings and office parties there's almost always someone who can't have dairy, and they usually end up with a fruit plate. When we plan a Pop Cart, we always include a few fruity flavours so every guest gets a proper dessert. Our event calculator helps you work out how many to order.
All fruity pops are made with real fruit and no dairy. Same-day dispatch in Hyderabad before 4 PM.
